Calibration Services
Calibration at ATP
We follow ISO17025 calibration standard practices as outlined in our PR-016 Torque Calibration Procedure. We hold ourselves to high standards and best match the maximum capacity of the torque transducer that we use to the maximum capacity of the wrench that we are calibrating. Therefore, we maintain five different torque transducers, all with 0.1% accuracy. From 20 – 40,000 ft-lbs.
All Calibrations Include
► A full evaluation on all ATP Products
► Calibration Certificate traceable to N.I.S.T.
► Calibration sticker for reminder of current and next calibration due date
Quality Service
► Rapid turnaround
► Knowledgeable staff
► Repeatable processes and procedures
Calibration Contracts
► Priority turnaround
► Reduced cost
► Time savings
► Tool-maintenance schedule
► On-track calibrations
► Major evaluations

What is Calibration?
Calibration is the comparison of measurement values delivered by equipment under test against a standard of predetermined accuracy. Calibration is an important process and should be performed regularly, as it ensures equipment is within the specified manufacturer’s tolerance when used.
Advanced Torque Products recommends calibrating torque equipment at least once a year to ensure it is within specification. All calibrations at Advanced Torque Products begin with thorough evaluations that review general wear and validate tool function prior to calibration. The equipment is then checked against a calibrated load cell without adjustment to provide baseline performance from the field for traceability and past performance information. The units are then calibrated (if needed) in accordance with ISO practices and quickly returned to the customer.
Calibration Facts:
ISO17025 – The main ISO standard used by testing and calibration laboratories to certify their process.
N.I.S.T. – National Institute of Standards and Technology. Where all standards trace back to.
Calibration standards – must be 4x the accuracy of the equipment they are checking.
